Yes. Your customers download the free Qtap app on iOS or Android to collect stamps and redeem rewards at your shop. Loyalty apps are normal now, and Qtap signup takes about thirty seconds with just a phone number and first name. Once they've downloaded it, every Qtap shop they visit after that is already inside the same app. It works anywhere in the world, so tourists and expats in Qatar use the same app your local regulars do.

No hardware required. You can run your entire Qtap loyalty system with a QR code alone, so customers earn and redeem stamps just by scanning a code you display at the counter. If you want the tap-to-earn experience, NFC cards are available as an add-on inside your dashboard's store, and we ship them anywhere in the world. Either way, there's no POS integration to configure and nothing to mount on the counter.

Not today. Qtap runs independently of your POS, which means it keeps working when your POS updates or your internet drops at the register. At checkout, staff ring up the sale and then scan the Qtap QR code (or tap the NFC card if you've added one) as a quick second step. POS integration is on our roadmap for merchants who want it, and we're building integrations with the POS systems most common in Qatar first.

Yes. Qtap supports both models, and you pick when you create your loyalty card. Stamps work well for cafes and restaurants where every purchase is similar in size, so the classic "buy 9 coffees, get the 10th free" flow fits naturally. Points work better for salons or shops where customers spend different amounts each visit, so they earn per QAR spent and redeem at a threshold you set. The model you choose stays fixed for that card, so pick the one that matches how customers pay in your shop.

You get 14 days of full access to whichever plan you choose. On day 1, you enter a card on file via Stripe and your dashboard unlocks completely, with every feature in your plan available from the start. You run your loyalty program for two weeks. On day 15, your card is charged for the first month, or you cancel before then and pay nothing. Your customer data stays yours either way, trial or paid.

Qtap is priced for small businesses. Plans start at $29/month for Starter, which covers one shop with unlimited members. Growth at $49/month and Elite at $79/month both include unlimited members, so you never hit a customer cap on any plan. Most growing shops land on Elite because it unlocks AI drift detection with win-back suggestions and covers up to 5 locations. Franchise at $199/month covers up to 15 locations with custom AI reports. Yearly billing saves about 17% on every plan. There are no per-transaction fees and no hidden charges. Your QR code is ready to display at the counter the moment you publish, and if you've added NFC cards from the dashboard store, they ship directly to your shop. Most shops go from signup to their first customer tap the same day.

You message us on WhatsApp, and a real human answers. Every plan includes WhatsApp support with typical response times of a few hours during business days. Elite and Franchise plans get priority support with faster response times and a direct line for urgent issues. We're based in Doha, so we're in the same timezone as most of our merchants and we understand the shops you're running.

Every stamp is recorded server-side with a timestamp and device ID. Qtap's backend watches for patterns that don't fit normal customer behavior, like duplicate taps within a few seconds or the same device earning stamps at two locations at the same time. The NFC card itself is intentionally simple, because every security check runs on our servers, so a copied card can't earn free rewards. If something looks off, the system flags it before the reward is granted.

Yes. The Elite plan covers up to 5 locations and the Franchise plan covers up to 15. All locations share one dashboard, and you can see which branch each customer visits most and how your regulars move between shops. A customer who earns stamps at your Downtown branch can redeem at your Pearl branch if you allow it. Each location gets its own QR code, with NFC cards available per location from the dashboard store.

Qtap accepts merchants from any country that supports Stripe payments. Our home market is Qatar, and we're actively signing up shops beyond the GCC as well. Your dashboard works from any country, and NFC cards ship to any address from the dashboard store. GCC expansion is next on the roadmap, with Arabic dashboard support and local payment methods coming first for UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.
